Growing Pains doesn’t have a permanent home, but moves around to various locations to best suit the project. Keep an eye out for where you can find us!
Growing Pains would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land on which they reside, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, and pay our respect to their elders past, present and emerging.
Growing Pains Initiative is the brain child of a graphic designer, game developer and visual artist.
Young people and emerging artists don't always know what they're doing, but are passionate and are willing to give it a red hot go anyway, and Growing Pains is ready to cheer them on and back them even if things don't go to plan. At Growing Pains Initiative we encourage the loud, the bold, the uncertain, the experimental, the political, the serene, the whatever it is that gets you going.
We are dedicated to working with emerging creatives under 30, and offer group and solo exhibitions, events, workshops, advice and support.
Growing Pains Initiative is run by Katherine Reynolds with assistance from a bunch of awesome young people including Ives Wong and Brendan Hartnett. We don't get paid to run it, and do this around other work and study commitments, all for the love of working with young creatives.
